Privacy Policy

The text below is not a contract, but it is meant to provide important information. Shiny srl undertakes to process the personal data legally and correctly and is committed to upholding its Privacy Policy as described as follows:

- The VISITOR is someone surfing the Net, by means of their own browser, who autonomously visits the page of a Web site on which ShinyStat's HTML code is placed.
- The USER is someone that uses ShinyStat's service in its free version, or upon payment, in order to monitor the visits to its site.

Visitor's Privacy
Shiny srl developed technology allows gathering the stream of visits to the Web site, by means of Shiny Stat's monitoring and analysis system without using any tool allowing the personal identification of the different individuals..
The methodology used for collecting all data, in fact, is able to provide only information regarding the visits and the paths taken by visitors through the Web site without any possibility to trace the identity of the VISITOR as data is collected in an aggregated way and in real time by using cookies (*) and stored on Shiny srl servers. Data collection and processing is absolutely anonymous and is aimed at providing ShinyStat's USERS with quantitative information about the visits towards their Web site. (*)Cookie: univocal numerical code randomly assigned to the VISITOR's browser during each visit session to a Web site. The same VISITOR, in compliance with the law, has the faculty of disabling this function, avoiding the above-mentioned operation.

Customer and User Privacy
The only personal data (**) managed by Shiny srl are those collected when the USER registers to our service: we specify that those data defined by Law 675/96 as "sensitive" are not required.
Shiny srl will process these data only to perform the obligations in law deriving from this contract to which ShinyStat's USER is a party, in the various versions (Free, PRO, Business and ISP).
In order to develop a tighter collaboration with its USERS, Shiny srl will process these data, upon explicit authorization, also for promotional operations aimed at advertising the innovations concerning our product range.

Shiny srl guarantees the USER that the data collected in order to analyze the VISITORS' behaviour will be anonymous and used in an aggregated way. Shiny srl is constantly engaged in improving the protection level of its informational and telemetric tools, in order to maximize their safety.
